O Carnaval é uma das principais manifestações culturais da cultura brasileira. Comemorações com características regionais acontecem por todo o país, atraindo turistas de todo o mundo. Para você se divertir e até se comunicar com algum gringo que encontrar, separamos uma lista de 10 palavras interessantes:
1 – Sambadrome – The avenue where the main Carnival parade takes place in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro;
2 – Carnival – The four days of fun, dance and energy before the Ash Wednesday;
3 – Float – Thematic cars specially designed and decorated for the parades, where revelers are driven by dressed in costumes during the parades, most common in Rio-Sao Paulo kind of party.
4 – Float Band – Commonly seen in Bahia streets, these vehicles are usually adapted trucks, fully equipped with powerful sound systems where singers and bands perform live shows while a big crowd follows them dancing and singing along;

10 – Mardi-Gras – It’s the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
